Sam Leavitt connected with Jackson Harris for a 16-yard touchdown pass. The score came at the end of an 83-yard LSU drive and pushed the Tigers ahead 14-3.

LSU then added two more touchdowns. Landen Clark scored on runs of 4 yards and 2 yards, helping LSU build a 35-6 lead by the end of the third quarter.

LSU controlled the fourth quarter with its defense.
Marcel Reed threw an interception to Tamarcus Cooley early in the quarter, giving LSU the ball deep in Texas A&M territory.
The Tigers could not turn that opportunity into more points, but the Aggies were unable to create a comeback.

Sam Leavitt and Jackson Harris Lead LSU
Sam Leavitt completed 17 of 23 passes for 312 yards and threw two touchdown passes to Jackson Harris.
Harris was one of the biggest players in the game. He finished with six catches for 163 yards and two touchdowns. His longest catch was the 57-yard touchdown in the third quarter.
Leavitt also dealt with a hamstring issue during the game and briefly left the field. Landen Clark took over and scored two rushing touchdowns.
Texas A&M Offense Struggles
Texas A&M finished with only 197 total yards, while LSU recorded 506 yards.
Marcel Reed completed 10 of 26 passes for 106 yards and threw one interception. LSU’s defense also recorded four sacks.
Reed had trouble finding open receivers throughout the game as LSU kept pressure on the Aggies’ offense.
