Third Arrest for Teofilo Chacon
The newest case was filed against Teofilo Chacon over an allegation that he sent obscene material to his wife’s cousin. Court records identify the material as a nude photograph.
Investigators reportedly used tattoos visible in the image to connect the photograph to Teofilo Chacon. Those same tattoos appear in his booking photograph.
Chacon’s recent legal trouble began on Aug. 28. Authorities accused him of taking his soon-to-be ex-wife’s phone while she was attempting to contact 911. Court records also say she was trying to leave with their children and that Teofilo Chacon was threatening her.
A second arrest followed on Sept. 4. In that case, authorities alleged that he had broken bond conditions connected to the earlier case.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office later confirmed that Chacon left the department while an internal investigation was in progress. Online employment records show he spent six years with the agency and list Sept. 8 as his final day.

Chacon previously worked for the Harris County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office before joining the sheriff’s department. A public defender told the court that Chacon is currently a student.
